Wise, Ink. was started to help YOU, the indie author with a great idea who just needs good old-fashioned book smarts and the occasional kick in the pants.
Our Philosophy
Authors who have a clear picture of their goals, expectations, audience’s needs and publishing trends make wise publishing choices and create an overall better book. Indie authors are a necessary force. We keep this publishing industry on its toes. But even better, we’re doing great things for our readers.
If you’re a writer, published author, thought leader, blogger, content creator, or wordsmith, you’ve come to the right place. The voices behind Wise, Ink are Amy Quale and Dara Beevas, two editors, committed to empowering you with valuable tools to publish wisely.
Wise Ink was created to help content creators through the process of writing, publishing, and book marketing. We want to share what we’ve learned working in the publishing industry because we have to believe that the mistakes we’ve made, witnessed others make, and the curious conundrums of book publishing have to serve some greater purpose right?

We also believe that authors are the future of publishing. No really. We work with fascinating people with incredible stories and we’ve personally witnessed their ability to accomplish great things, change lives, and use their content in ways unimaginable. You’ll be picking up tricks and tips based on what we know works for authors.

We’re firm believers in sharing. You’ll get a lot of freebies on the Wise Ink site. The publishing industry is changing daily, so it makes sense to build community. We also know how challenging it is to be a writer, because we are writers. We know how taxing it can be to publish and market a book, because that’s what we do in our day jobs.
